Meals communicate more than just flavor in The Last Chinese Chef
The book explains that in some situations in Chinese culture, the meal is actually the conversation. How does that work? Why is that important to the story? Do you think other cultures communicate through food in this manner?
Have not read. I do think many cultures place a huge importance on food. Would like to read and have it down on my list.
