Sporting a chocolate cookie and white chocolate chips, we’ve always called these “Inside Out Cookies.” We enjoy them throughout the year, but also always have them on the Christmas cookie tray to satisfy the many chocoholics we know and love!
Ingredients for Inside Out Cookies
- 2 1/4 C. flour
- 2/3 C. cocoa powder
- 1 t. baking soda
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1 C. butter
- 3/4 C. sugar
- 3/4 C. brown sugar
- 1 t. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 C. white chocolate chips
- 3/4 C. chopped walnuts or pecans

Instructions
STEP 1
Preheat oven to 350°. In a medium size bowl mix together cocoa, flour, baking soda and salt.
STEP 2
In an electric mixer or Kitchen Aid, cream butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract. Add eggs, one at a time, beating to mix thoroughly between additions. Gradually beat in the flour mixture.
STEP 3
Gently stir in white chocolate chips and nuts. Drop cookies onto baking sheet by well-rounded teaspoons.
STEP 4
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until the centers are no longer gooey. Remove to wire racks to cool completely. Makes about 50 cookies.
